Day 1: Arrive Tokyo (Narita)
After entry procedures, transfer to your hotel by Airport Limousine Bus on your own. We provide you with a pre-paid bus coupon and detailed instructions with an airport map.
Two nights' accommodations at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel (Main Tower).
Sensoji Day 2: Join Tokyo Morning Tour / Afternoon At Leisure
This morning join a sightseeing tour of Tokyo which will include a visit to the Tokyo Tower Observatory for a panoramic view of the city. Drive by the Imperial Palace Plaza (a short photo stop at the outer garden), visit Asakusa Kannon Temple with bustling Nakamise Shopping Arcade. Drive by Akihabara. Tour ends at Tokyo Station. Return to your hotel on your own, transfer not included. The local guide will explain how to use the local train to return to your hotel. Afternoon and evening at leisure.
Day 3: Join Mt. Fuji & Hakone Sightseeing (Japanese Lunch)
Morning drive to halfway up Mt. Fuji followed by a Japanese lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi followed by cable car up Mt. Komagatake. Continue to your hotel. This evening soothe your weary bones in an authentic Japanese Onsen (hot springs bath). Check your modesty at the door, to enjoy an Onsen you do it in your birthday suit. The hotel has separate Onsen baths for men and women. Be careful, some say the water is hot enough to boil a lobster!
Overnight accommodations at the Hotel Kowaki-en.
1. GPS-equipped audio guides are available in Chinese and Spanish. Request the use when make reservations. Please note that because the number of the devices is limited, there may be cases in which some participants have to share 1 device.
2. When Fuji Visitor Center is closed or is hard to reach due to traffic conditions, the tour will not visit the Center.
3.When Subaru Line roadway to Mt. Fuji 5th Station is closed due to road surface freezing, the tour will be taken as high as possible.
4. As temperature drops significantly on Mt. Fuji, please bring coats or other warm clothes from fall to spring.
5. The tour will not be cancelled or refunded even if Mt. Fuji is not fully visible due to weather conditions.
6. Lake Ashi Cruise or Hakone Komaga-take Ropeway may be omitted, depending on traffic, weather conditions, or other operational concerns. If either or both are omitted the following alternatives may be used: Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani valley, Hakone Sightseeing Cruise (pirate ship), Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Sekisho (checking station) remains, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, or Itchiku Kubota Art Museum. The tour will not be cancelled or refunded for such itinerary alteration.
7. The guide may not accompany you on the bus or Shinkansen back to Tokyo. In this case, information on how to return to hotels will be provided in advance.
8. After going through the itinerary, the bus may make multiple stops at the hotels in the Hakone area.
Shinkansen Day 4: Hakone to Odawara / Odawara to Tokyo by Bullet Train (Train Ticket Included)
Day at leisure for you to explore Hakone on your own. You will receive a Hakone FreePass that entitles you to discounted rates to some 30 tourist attractions and also free rides on certain mountain trains, a cable car and the local buses in the Hakone area. Late this afternoon, use your pass to ride the local bus on your own to Odawara Station where you will board a Shinkansen to Tokyo. Upon arrival at Shinagawa Station, walk across the street to your hotel on your own.

Day 5: Depart Tokyo (Narita)
Transfer to the airport by pre-paid Airport Limousine Bus on your own.
